Pinenes in the volatile part of pine resin ↗

Pine oleoresin consists of turpentine and rosin; in one pine species the volatile turpentine fraction consisted mainly of α-pinene and β-pinene.

A methods study of two pine species' resin products; composition, not odour, and the rosin acids are not volatile.
