Terpenoids released by cleaning products ↗

In a ventilated 50 m³ test room, full-strength use of a pine-oil cleaner raised one-hour air concentrations of terpenoids such as d-limonene, terpinolene, α-terpinene and α-terpineol, and air fresheners emitted d-limonene, dihydromyrcenol, linalool, linalyl acetate and β-citronellol; diluted cleaning released a much smaller share.

Five cleaning products and air fresheners used in one test room; it measures emissions, not how a cleaned room is perceived.
